Publisher Synopsis

Melanie Stryder refuses to fade away. The earth has been invaded by a species that take over the minds of human hosts while leaving their bodies intact. Wanderer, the invading “soul” who has been given Melanie’s body, didn’t expect to find its former tenant refusing to relinquish possession of her mind.

As Melanie fills Wanderer’s thoughts with visions of Jared, a human who still lives in hiding, Wanderer begins to yearn for a man she’s never met. Reluctant allies, Wanderer and Melanie set off to search for the man they both love.

Teal Review

I really enjoyed this book! It has been awhile since I read it but I am still able to remember the plot and characters because I enjoyed it so much! I liked the love connections between Melanie, Jared, Wanda and Ian; I am cheesy like that, always in for a love triangle…or a love square I suppose, since there’s four! The description of the mountain hide out in the desert is really descriptive and I could very easily imagine it in my head! While there were some cheesy parts of the book, and some parts that were super predictable, like (SPOILERS ALERT) Ian falling for Wanda it was still a super sweet “love story”.

Once thing that I didn’t expect was for Wanda to survive and get her own body!!! I was so happy about that, the fact that both her and Ian were happy in the end was pleasing. Over all I would recommend this book, especially if you like Stephanie Meyers’ other books and if you like alien type stories!

Happy Reading!

Helllllo! Today I have a super high fantasy/dystopian/scifi book haul! Some of these books I got last month but most of them I got with in the last week. I JUST got Salt to the Sea fresh off the mail truck and I can’t WAIT to read it! The reviews that I have read and watched on Youtube look and sound really fantastic. I also have to say that I was lucky enough to get a signed copy of Kings Cage by Victoria Aveyard…winning!! Here are the previews of each book!

A Court of Thrones and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world. As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she’s been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae.

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

Feyre survived Amarantha’s clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can’t forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.

What’s Left of Me by Kat Zhang

I should not exist. But I do.

Eva and Addie started out the same way as everyone else—two souls woven together in one body, taking turns controlling their movements as they learned how to walk, how to sing, how to dance. But as they grew, so did the worried whispers. Why aren’t they settling? Why isn’t one of them fading? The doctors ran tests, the neighbors shied away, and their parents begged for more time. Finally Addie was pronounced healthy and Eva was declared gone. Except, she wasn’t . . .

Soul’s Gate by James L. Rubart

What if you could travel inside another person’s soul? To battle for them. To be part of Jesus healing their deepest wounds. To help set them free to step boldly into their divinely designed future. Thirty years ago that’s exactly what Reece Roth did. Until tragedy shattered his life and ripped away his future.
